Designated DMCA agent

Send notices to legal@velouraapp.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice".

Submitting a takedown notice

Your notice must include all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
  3. The specific URL(s) on Ditto where the allegedly infringing content appears.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Note: false or bad-faith DMCA notices may subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed in response to a DMCA notice you believe was mistaken or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@velouraapp.com including:

  1. Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your district (or, if you are outside the U.S., the Southern District of New York), and to accept service from the original notifier.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original notifier and may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the notifier seeks a court order.

Repeat-infringer policy

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
